The Company:

  • Multinational Mining Company.


  • Lead and coordinate the implementation, optimisation and on-going management of Supply Chain business processes and systems in the region. The focus of this role is on the successful implementation and support of all Supply Chain systems within the region, ensuring end-users are able to transact in the systems.
  • Manage day to day functional support of systems adopted within the region.
  • Lead process and system related projects, associated change management activities and drive adoption of and compliance with standards, processes and systems in the region.
  • Engage with global system owners to review regional specific system requirements and support the system design led by the Global Systems enablement teams.
  • Lead the identification of continuous improvement initiatives within the region and support the Global Systems Enablement team to document regional enhancements for global systems.
  • Support the Process Improvement team to incorporate regional requirements into global processes.
  • Develop test scripts for system localisations, and perform the tests and document test results.
  • Assist in driving effective change through the organisation that will promote the use and adoption of processes and system solutions within the region.
  • Localise global training documentation where required, and provide training to users.
  • Provide ongoing user training for users within the region.


  • An undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • A postgraduate qualification (Honours/ Masters/ Doctoral degree or equivalent) in commercial related field. (desirable)
  • Experience/exposure to Supply Chain processes over a period exceeding 4 years, would be considered essentialExperience in data analytics and performance reporting.
  • A proven track record in the relevant systems will be a considerable advantage.
  • Good change and relationship management capability.
  • Extensive relevant professional experience leading an initiative within a global and multidisciplinary context.
  • Experience in the Mining industry and/or procurement function.
  • Provides a consistent outstanding role model in relation to safety practices with a deep understanding of the importance of safety
